Petco Park is a great venue for exploring and for watching some baseball. It was opened in 2004 and serves as the San Diego Padres home field.
You haven’t seen Petco Park until you’ve gone behind-the-scenes on one of the Park’s guided tours.
Tours run approximately 80 minutes and include 1.5 miles of walking.
Tours begin near the Western Metal Building near the Tony Gwynn Blvd/7th Avenue and K Street Intersection.
Tickets can be purchased outside the Padres store at the Western Metal Ticket Windows or online.

EARLY-BIRD GAME DAY TOURS
Coming to catch the Padres in action at Petco Park? Then come early and enjoy a 60 minute guided tour of the ballpark!
The Early Bird Tour begins one hour prior to gates opening every game (excludes Opening Day and special events). Includes an exclusive look at batting practice (view from first row; batting practice is at discretion of each team).
*Arrive at least 15 minutes early in order to go through bag check.
*You must have a game ticket and an Early Bird Ticket to attend the Early Bird Tour. All Petco Park entry policies will be enforced and bags will be checked. Each group is limited to 25 fans and meets at the VIP Gate near to the Main Box Office on Park Boulevard.
