The Japanese Friendship Garden is such a cool place to visit in San Diego. Once you start on the path through the Garden, you forget the hustle and bustle of Balboa Park and emerge in a different time and place. We do love our tranquil moments after all and this is an awesome place to get in a few.
Along with reflection moments, the Garden runs special exhibits to showcase Japanese art and culture. Collectors in San Diego is the exhibit to see now. The exhibit features dishware, sculptures and more showcasing Japanese culture and all owned by local San Diegans. We enjoyed seeing pieces we wouldn’t normally be able to see (they are displayed in private collections so only the owners get to see these treasures!).
Visit Collectors in San Diego and the Japanese Friendship Garden today for cool Japanese pieces and a peaceful walk in a pretty garden.
